A joyful explosion of colour, character and curiosity celebrating the heart and humour of the Australian spirit.Through vibrant acrylics and meticulously detailed brushwork, this collection brings to life a cast of native creatures and blooms, from the fluffiest marsupials to flamboyant cockatoos and the occasional unexpected snack.Each painting captures not just the likeness, but the personality of Australia’s most iconic inhabitants, blending artistic precision with playful charm.
Inspiration
Wild Whimsy was my first solo exhibition held at Round Bird Artspace in Lilydale in 2025.
My goal for this exhibition was to showcase both my love for whimsical and Australiana art.
58 works were included in this collection. All pieces are acrylic on canvas and were painted between 2021-2025.
My inspirations for this collection are largely influenced by the scenery around me. Living and working in Victoria's Yarra Valley provides me with extensive beautiful wildlife and nature for endless inspiration.
Ultimately I wanted this collection to be fun and leave visitors with a smile on their face and a newfound love for whimsical art.
